Play hard and work harder or work hard and play harder?

“Cookies, brownies, coffee or orange juice support our thesis film”. It tasted good for them and they bought it all. Thursday was our first official fundraiser bake sale in front of the Sierra Tower on CSUN campus.

And YESSSSSSSS we wrapped the day not having a single left over!!! Our wonderful director does not only have serious film making skills (sharp), but also mad domestic skills …no shame in her game.

Angelique baked the goods the nights before and went all out to offer the community some Key Lime cupcakes, Chocolate covered Pretzel Sticks, Wine Cake, Matzo Rice Cake Crispies…

The community not only showed interest in sweets, and baked goods, but an overall interest in the project itself :o)…

it can only get better from here and the word of mouth triggered even more anticipation for our film. For a few hours campus became an upbeat, alive place to be, involving curious students, fresh beats, and colorful cookies.

The entire crew was able to entertain the student crowd, pose for newspaper pictures, and provide the communities stomachs with delicious desserts after lunch. Everyone who didn’t get the chance to stop by sorry you missed out. I know this is not a compensation, but the few pictures tell it all “the bake sale was a blast”.

Indeed, they came, they saw, they bought and support thanks to our awesome CSUN community who made the bake sale a true success. It would have been impossible without you.

To everyone who not only bought, but donated as well the entire crew shows much appreciation and thanks YOU GUYS!!! Without YOU it would have not been such a huge success. Seriously CSUN rocks :o).

To everyone who can’t get enough of us and needs a little bit more of Schwartza: come and support us at the Abbey, which is our next fundraiser in West Hollywood. You can buy tickets on our website for 15 dollars (yes 15) or pay 20 at the door (LINK). Now this is a must see event and we have a lot of high profile rollers showing… Mr. Donald Petrie himself will pay a visit, as well as other Faculty members (yes PROF. Thomas we are talking about You “the one and only”).

Dance with Playboy Bunnies, joke with Andy Dick, hang out with Jean Claude Van Damme, buy some art, and win voucher tickets for the American Music Awards, Golden Globes and much more….if that doesn’t sound convincing enough then I don’t know buddy it sounds like a PARTY to US :o)

See you guys there
